The Female All-Star Revue is the brainchild of Jodie Woodward, a popular bassist in the Denver/Front-Range area. Miss Woodward has been a member many bands both in the Denver area and New Orleans. She envisioned an all-star show where the community could be entertained and made aware of the amazing female talent that plays professionally in this area. The Female All-Star Revue has blossomed into a great production, entertaining festivals and clubs throughout the area. Each show features different players and offers the players and the audience a unique musical experience.

This year the event is being held on Saturday, November 21st, 2009. The Female All-Star Revue will be featuring 17 talented female Colorado musicians and singers taking the stage at Oskar Blues, in Lyons Colorado for the 5th Annual "Women Rock the Night". Tickets are $15.00 at the door.

These talented ladies will sing the blues with big hearts as they reach out to raise funds to benefit their friend and fellow local blues musician, Pam Rowen. In August 2009, Pam’s beloved husband, Peter Rowen, noted Colorado blues musician died of a massive heart attack. These women will bring their blues power together to support Pam with her financial needs.
